How to sign up and follow-up as a hike leader
First: Sign-up for the day you wish to lead your hike on the calendar
folder/sheet (for your appropriate hiking group). This folder can be found
at the Gateway Trail’s Club Lock-box where we meet to drive to our group
hikes.
Second: If you did not sign-up with a destination, as the leader, you need
to be sure that you give your destination location for the hike to your
Quarterly Captain, who can be found in the TC Directory (Good idea to
also copy the Calendar Coordinator, found in TC Directory as well.)
**Do this as soon as possible, ASAP, so that members can make their
hiking plans.
Third: As the leader you should then send the hike’s full description to
Diane Hinds at www.trailsclubofrossmoor.com to add to the calendar, and
for her to email to your group, a week before the actual hike…..she
handles the full descriptions of the particular hike.
FYI….not all leaders will provide full descriptions…..it is not mandatory
(destinations are mandatory).
Happy Trails and thanks for stepping up to lead a hike.
