Coordinator
The role of Membership Coordinator includes the following:
Welcome Volunteer Coordinator
Recruit one person per month assuring that all hiking groups are represented. Detailed duties are listed on the TC website. Update the name and the contact telephone number in the Rossmoor news each month. Obtain a list of new members from the Registrar each month and forward it to the appropriate Welcome Volunteer.
Stocking /Maintaining Folders in Gateway storage box:
Keep all folders up to date and filled. Folders include Membership Applications, Medical Form, Rules of the Trail, Daily Hike Sign-Up sheets, Guest Waivers, Safari notifications, and upcoming Social Events.
Distribution of Trails Club Directory and Annual Application Forms / Holiday Party Invitation:
In January oversee the distribution of TC Directories to those members who request them. Obtain labels from Registrar, apply address labels to TC Directory and distribute.
Prior to the November Annual Meeting, duplicate new applications and coordinate the labeling. Collate them with the Holiday Party Invitation.
Make information available for pick-up at the annual meeting.
Deliver/mail those that remain in a timely manner.
Organize New Member Socials 2 to 3 times per year
The role of Membership Coordinator includes the following:
- Attend Board Meetings to report on current
membership statistics and other relevant issues.
- Keep new member information forms that are
forwarded from the Welcome Volunteer interviews each month.
- Send out e-mails to advise members of changes to
membership policies and forms and membership renewal dates.
- Periodically send a list of new members to
Rossmoor Membership Services to verify residency.
- Recruit volunteers to head the following
subcommittees:
