PLEASE NOTE THE CHANGE IN REFUND POLICY
*Refunds will be given if cancellation is received by April 30th.
*If the number of campers is fewer than 25 on April 30, the trip may be cancelled and all money will be refunded.
*For cancellation after April 30, refunds may be partially or fully given if there are funds available after paying Camp Concord contractual financial obligations.
*Potluck Picnic. June 7, 2022. Janet Maleski reported that this Potluck dates will be modified to accommodate members who choose to go on the Sequoia Safari. Proposed new dates will be June 21st or June 22nd, depending on availability through the Recreation Department.
*Summer Party Scheduled for July 21, 2022. This party is to be catered, caterer to be determined. This party at present lacks a coordinator and volunteers are needed for this event. It is now set for the Fireside Room, and it may move to an outside venue within Rossmoor. In that event, the backup plan will be an indoor Rossmoor venue on the same date, July 21, 2022.

- 2022 Renewal Forms are available on the Club website.
- Club has 355 members to date, 44 fewer than the 2021 total.
Club Calendar
- Technology Committee invites all community members, including Board members, to participate in a Website Workshop on Tuesday March 29, 2022, in the AM, exact time and location to be announced. Purpose of that meeting is to determine user needs and priorities as the website is reviewed and revised.
Trail Steward’s Report
- Rockcrest Trail
- On 2/18/22 five volunteers did some needed TLC for 9.mi south from the Oakmont trailhead, widening and leveling trail head, redefining dirt steps.
- On 2/22/22 a Rossmoor Landscape crew repositioned 9 wood steps into the hill from a landslide area on the downhill side.
- Waraner Tree Service to clear two downed trees on the trail and, separately, to install water drainage crossings in two ravines that had deepened and widened after the 12/21/2021 rains. Waraner also preparing for the installation of approximately 50 wooden steps when the trail is ready.
Safari Updates for 2022 (more info will be available in the near future)
- Sequoia/Kings Canyon Safari has been rescheduled to June 4-8, 2022.
- Past President Harriet Schwartz discussed possible plans for a 2023 safari to the San Juan islands/Washington State in conjunction with Road Scholar.
